If CE is anywhere on your radar right now - whether you’re due soon, due later, or just not totally sure - this is a good time to get organized before it turns into something you have to scramble through.
We’ve gone state by state to figure out which schools make the most sense depending on where you’re licensed, so think of this email as a simple CE cheat sheet you can save and come back to later, and share to anyone you know who may also need CE.
A Quick CE Check-In
One of the annoying things about CE is that it’s easy to ignore right up until it becomes urgent.
Not because it’s especially difficult.
Mostly because it sits in the background until suddenly it doesn’t.
That’s why this email is straightforward:
If you need CE, or think you might, here’s the easiest place to start.
The easiest rule to remember
For most states, your best default option is:
That includes Texas, along with most states not specifically listed below.
So if you’re in a state like:
…and many others, Colibri is the right place to start.
It’s online, self-paced, straightforward, and built to make CE less of a headache.
If your state has a stronger local option, use this instead
For a few states, there’s a sister school with stronger local recognition.
Use these by state:
Florida → Gold Coast Schools
Washington → Rockwell Institute
North Carolina → Superior School of Real Estate
Ohio → Hondros College
Optional overlap states:
California → Allied Schools or Colibri
Nevada → Key Realty or Colibri
And again, if your state is not one of the special cases above:

The goal here is not to overcomplicate CE.
It’s to help you get to the right provider faster, based on where you are.
For most of you, that’s Colibri.
For a handful of states, it may be a sister school with stronger local recognition.
Either way, the goal is the same:
online access
self-paced learning
less friction
easier follow-through
And honestly, that’s what matters most with CE.
Not finding the fanciest option.
Just finding the one that makes it easiest to get done.
